Have you ever felt like you’ve got a mountain to climb? Are you hitting a wall with your business? Then join us and listen to the story of Aaron Hagan, CEO of Mister Sparky Mid-America!
From bankruptcy and having to start over to losing all of his technicians, Aaron has been through a roller coaster in business and not just survived – he’s thrived! Now with 9 locations, over 150 employees, and on pace for 50MM, Aaron joins To The Point to tell his inspiring story and what he’s learned along the way to our listeners.
An electrician by trade, Aaron was running a new construction business and decided to purchase his first Mister Sparky franchise in 2009 as a result of the economy. When the federal government took over his bank and demanded all loans be paid in full, he was forced to move forward with bankruptcy. Through a fortunate call with Terry Nicholson, he maintained ownership of his business…but had to start over from scratch. Not only that, with no banks willing to lend, he had to run on cash alone.
As Aaron learned how to be a better businessman along the way, he grew the company to higher revenue and more locations, but not without more bumps along the way. From his first year doing under $400,000 to being on track for 50MM, he has propelled himself and the business far past the roadblocks that would have stopped many others.
If Aaron’s story can teach you anything, it’s that even losing everything won’t stop you from achieving your goals. Now, Aaron is focused on learning how to better develop leaders in his company. He and his team also enjoy mentoring other franchises to pour into them and help them grow as well. In this tough industry, he’s a beacon of both hope and inspiration. We look forward to following Aaron and his journey as he takes Mister Sparky Mid-America to even greater heights!
