Chris has a story that many in the trades can relate to. During high school, he needed to start getting to work. He dropped out in the 10th grade, joined a new construction electrical company, and found quickly that he loved working with his hands. Before long, he was starting his own electrical business at just 20 years old.
While Chris was doing fine for himself, he recognized that he didn’t have the business acumen he needed to excel. He went to work for a large contractor in corporate and ended up working directly underneath the legendary Jim Abrams. These years were Chris’s “college degree.” In 2013, Patrick Kennedy (the original owner of Mister Sparky) and Chris bought out a $3 million electrical company, grew it to $30 million in four years, and exited. In 2018, Chris joined Blue Collar Success Group, where he continues to help contractors of all sizes scale their businesses.
