Live from RYNOx 2025, we bring you an exclusive chat between Chad Peterman and Wyatt Hepworth! Wyatt took Any Hour from zero employees and scaled the business to over $100 million in a single location. Now with over 3,000 employees and locations all over the country, Wyatt answers some big questions about what he’s doing today to keep the culture, the growth, and the motivation going in his business.
Creating a Culture of Success
Wyatt doesn’t believe you can actually “control” culture. Instead, culture is what you choose to walk in the doors to work with — and it starts with the leaders. As Any Hour grew, each department gained its own culture that reflected its leadership. Wyatt and Chad agree that consistency is imperative, and Wyatt attributes a lot of the successful culture in Any Hour to having consistent leadership. They prioritize promoting from within and keeping leaders in place as long as possible.
As the business scales, it’s important to not lose sight of the blocking and tackling. The basics like answering the phone and delivering great service with efficiency are what make scaling a business happen, not chasing the bottom line or worrying about EBIDTA day after day. Wyatt and Chad point out that no matter the size of your business, you can take market share simply by having solid fundamentals and showing up with the right focus day after day.

A Passion for Changing Lives
Although Wyatt has been in the business for many years and enjoyed immense success, he stays as motivated as ever. He is a self-proclaimed “workaholic,” but his real passion is the people. He loves that the business is a place where people can chase their potential and provide for themselves and their families. Coming from a childhood where food wasn’t always on the table, seeing others grow and succeed in the industry is something that keeps him going.
